F3 Changer is a Minecraft Fabric mod designed to give you full control over the F3 debug menu keybinding. By default, Minecraft uses the F3 key to toggle the debug overlay, which can be inconvenient or conflict with other applications.

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Install Fabric Loader
Download and install Fabric Loader from fabricmc.net
- Download the Fabric installer
- Run the installer and select Minecraft version 1.21.9
- Click "Install" to complete the process
Step 2: Download Fabric API
Get Fabric API from Modrinth
Make sure to download the version compatible with Minecraft 1.21.9
Step 3: Download F3 Changer
Download the latest version of F3 Changer from Modrinth
Step 4: Install the Mods
- Locate your Minecraft installation folder:

~/Library/Application Support/minecraft - Linux:
~/.minecraft
- Windows:
- Open the
modsfolder (create it if it doesn't exist) - Place both Fabric API and F3 Changer .jar files into the mods folder
Step 5: Launch the Game
Start Minecraft and select the Fabric profile. The mod should now be loaded!

How to Use F3 Changer
Once installed, F3 Changer integrates seamlessly with Minecraft's controls system.
Configuring Your Keybinding
Step 1: Open Controls Settings
Launch Minecraft and navigate to:
Options → Controls → Key Binds
Step 2: Find the Debug Menu Category
Scroll down until you find the "Debug Menu" category. This is where F3 Changer's keybinding is located.
Step 3: Change the Keybinding
- Click on "Open Debug Menu (F3)"
- Press the key you want to use for the debug menu
- The new keybinding will be saved automatically
Step 4: Test Your New Keybinding
Exit the menu and press your newly configured key. The F3 debug overlay should now toggle on and off!

- Recommended Keys: Try keys like F4, F5, or even mouse buttons for easy access
- Conflict Warning: The game will warn you if your chosen key conflicts with another binding
- Reset to Default: Simply rebind to F3 if you want to restore the default behavior
